Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured to a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It has 24 options and is a top-rated stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is also lighter.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster button to help you place your child in the most comfortable position. such a good point is roomy however we would prefer it had a latch that was more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a bit difficult to use since they need to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its siblings Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a new baby due. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families who already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat for infants in this instance.
